Wellbeing treatments, particularly massage and the recognition of the importance of touch, are integral to Weleda’s philosophy. Dr Ita Wegman, Weleda's original co-founder, studied massage before becoming a medical doctor. She developed a very individual rhythmical massage technique, echoing nature’s rhythms and patterns. These unique Weleda practices and products combine to connect both esthetician and client with nature, a doctrine which has been at the heart of Weleda’s purpose for 100 years.
